Camberly Bathroom Renovation Project

When home renovation specialist Kelley Malcher first met with her client to discuss an ensuite bathroom renovation, the client wanted to upgrade her ensuite for more of a modern look. The client had a traditional, 11-year-old brick home in Surrey. It was found that both the electrics and extractor fan needed to be fixed and the client found her original bathtub difficult to clean, so new materials were needed. Originally she simply wanted a new bathtub and to forgo a shower completely.
“The previous bathroom was a standard developer's fit-out using very ordinary, slightly dated bathroom tiles and bathroom suite”, explains Kelley.
The client also wanted her new bathroom to offer more storage space.

Developing bathroom designs

Kelley and her team got to work, designing and building a modern ensuite. This included an on-site swap of bathroom fittings, as well as replacing the original bath and shower with a new tub and a handheld shower. From there, the toilet, basin, taps and towel warmer were changed to newer models. New porcelain tiles added in a touch of elegance.
Refresh Renovations Surrey guided their client through different supplier options, helping her to find products that suited her taste and the style that she wanted for her new bathroom. The white and blue colour palette was changed to a combination of nude paint and brown tiles, creating a much warmer feel. A large square mirror with lights was brought in to replace the former smaller, oval mirror above the basin.

Within three weeks the renovation was complete, leaving the client with an ensuite which Kelley describes as “Modern, functional and luxurious in a confined space.”
