We enlisted the help of Refresh Renovations to complete our kitchen renovation in summer-autumn of 2025 after I met with Ali about the project. Out of all the companies I met with, he came across thoughtful, considered and gave me all the information I needed in a timely manner.From design to works starting we were kept up to date regularly, any questions or issues arising were dealt with swiftly, and we were delivered a high-spec project as a result. We had a wall knocked down to create an open plan kitchen supplied from Howdens and we are blown away with the change. We are so happy and couldn't recommend them more.

When we bought our first house three years ago we knew it needed some work, but thanks to Lia and her team we've started 2023 in what feels like a brand new home. Our little 1960's weatherboard house has been modernised without losing it's 'Kiwi' character. Andre (Refresh Renovations) and the builder did a great job renovating our home. The job involved creating an upstairs area by adding 2 extra bedrooms, as well as removing interior walls to open up the existing space and creating a new kitchen. They were very professional. Andre worked closely with us to ensure the new work would meet our expectations & needs.

We employed Andre to build a Garage and Decking (the Garage had complication due to the Land Sloping) At the start there were some small problem, but as the Job progressed Andre and his Team were total Professionals in ALL ways and very Good to work with. As Covid caused many many problems for Andre and his Team, but they worked tirelessly to get the project completed (thanks). Nita was excellent throughout. She project managed the conversion of an internal cupboard into an office with windows through to the internal swimming pool, and also the renovation of a dated laundry that didn't have enough storage space. Her team of tradies did a great job and her communication was excellent throughout. These two rooms are now much more liveable and practical spaces for us and we are delighted with the results, and we feel this will have added value to the house.

Saleem and the team completed a few renovations and build projects across two of our properties. These included two bathroom renovations, converting a garage into a habitable space, and designing and building a carport. Saleem and the team managed the projects end-to-end – from initial consultation, design, build, consent, council inspections, quality assurance etc. Each project was delivered on time, within the agreed scope and to a high standard. The areas where Saleem excels are his clear communication and meeting commitments and deadlines. He also has a calm and reassuring manner, which was needed when unforeseen things crop up. For example, during our garage conversion, some rot was identified on timber framing. Saleem’s team pivoted and remediated this issue quickly and without too much impact on the budget. Another aspect that I want to call out is the team Saleem has picked is respectful and mindful of the noise. With hybrid ways of working, there was usually someone working from home. Saleem’s team kept the noise to a minimum, which was appreciated. I highly recommend Saleem and the team for your next project.

I don't normally do reviews, but in this instance i think it warrants one. Totally professional approach from initial engagement right through to the completion of the work. It was such a weight off my shoulders with refresh doing everything, from the initial design, working from my requirements and suggestions, through to managing every aspect of the work (sourcing materials, workforce, deliveries) every aspect was managed in such a way that this has been the only renovation i've had done that has been stress free. everything was project managed extremely efficiently and respectful of my needs. Even when i had an issue, post the actual build (nothing to do with the renovation), refresh stepped up and helped me to resolve the issue, even though they had no obligation to do so. I would and already have recommended Refresh to my friends and would certainly engage with again if i carry out any further renovations.

They achieved what I wanted according to my plan, and progress through the renovation was very good without any unexpected issues. I was happy with the project management and kept well informed.

It was a large project, as I was not only wanting to renovate my bathroom from the ground up, I also wanted to replace the plumbing for the whole house, all while we were in the middle of the pandemic. It took a while to get going, but once it started it felt like it flowed from start to finish. There were a few issues that popped up but Michael and the team were flexible in working around them so that they didn't become big problems, and throughout the job, they provided heaps of useful ideas. All in all it only came in a little over budget with the last minute additions, but the quality of the work was much higher than I expected and definitely worth it.

We worked with Saleem and his team on the renovation of our kitchen, laundry and hallway, two bathrooms and lounge. It required design work, stripping everything out and upgrading all areas. Our experience was extremely good and we would have no hesitation in recommending Saleem. The communication was very good, both in person and via emails and so forth. We found the online system really good. The quality of the work is very high. The site was kept clean and tidy throughout, and checks on quality were regularly undertaken as the works progressed. We completed on time, even with Covid 19 being a consideration. There were no delays and they were actually able to install the kitchen earlier than planned. We would definitely work with Saleem and the team again in the future. And it was fun!

We had been considering renovating our home for a number of years but had always been reticent to start, given the inevitable complexities of the process and the potential pitfalls of project managing something so significant ourselves. Our decision to engage Saleem and his team was the best choice we could have made. From the first design meeting - through planning, costings, consenting and then the actual build process - the communications, level of engagement and renovations were exemplary. Saleem and the team always had pragmatic and high-quality solutions to any complexities that arose and dealt with our ‘bright ideas’ with aplomb. Kelley and her team did a great job refurbishing our two bathrooms. It was a one-stop shop service from start to finish and Kelley guided us from day 1, including designing the bathrooms, helping us choose the right products, never once being pushy and always cognisance of our budget and schedule requirements. Michael and his team just finished an amazing bathroom/laundry upgrade for me. The only reason why I didn’t use their business is because I’ve learned that some single-trade renovation projects are best handled on your own but they would add more value to projects with multiple trades.
