A Contemporary Bathroom and Kitchen Renovation in SW16, London

When this young couple came across an old house in south west London, they saw its potential and set out to transform it into a modern abode they could call home. Working closely with Refresh Renovation Consultant, Saleem Jalil, the duo decided the bathroom, kitchen and some re-plastering was first on their list to tackle. 

Lacking in both insulation and warmth, underfloor heating was a priority and just the beginning of the many modern touches that appear throughout this transformation. What followed was an innovative design and selection of stylish surfaces to create contemporary family spaces. 

The bathroom’s striking green subway tiles, offset with black metallic fixtures and faucets, complement the natural wood-inspired floating vanity with jack and jill basins. A glass shower wall over the bath creates a modern, functional appearance, while offering the option of spa-like indulgence to be enjoyed at the end of a long week.
