French Neutral 

Combine neutral colours with French inspired accessories for a warm and welcoming haven.
Blend beige and grey for a timeless look that is at once elegant and restful. These colours create a classic look that works well as a basis for a myriad of different styles. Add crisp white linen for balance and contrast.  
Choose French inspired accessories like rustic bedside tables, lamps and antiques. A good antique dealer will have ample choice and may even be able to source specific objects of desire. A collection of framed prints – shown here with an antique botanical theme – are at once sophisticated and nostalgic.

Modern Texture 

Opt for interesting texture and a single, mood-setting highlight colour for a modern look. 
Dramatic dark walls and floors complemented with white sets the scene for your chosen star colour. Nothing distracts – full impact is guaranteed. A throw in chartreuse, as pictured here, plays the part and is both cosy and refreshing. Bright white bedding is a must.
Updating this look is easy – just change your throw and cushion to a different colour. Choose what’s hot this season, or set your own trend with a favourite hue. Serene green, calming blue or dusty purple are a few ideas, but there’s a whole world of colour and texture to explore. 

Boy Zone 

Liven up your boy’s room with deep blues, rich reds and a twist on classic stripes.
A trio of bold colours – dark blue, light blue and dark red – is a fabulous foundation for a fun boy cave. Don’t hold back on bold bedding and accessories like garlands, bedside lamps, ottomans and rugs. Add a stripy accent cushion with a streak of yellow.
Toys make a great display feature – especially the rustic wooden kind. Track down robots, wild animal shapes or even action figures, and display them for full effect. Framed or unframed prints complete the playful scene.

In the Pink 

Choose a cheery colour palette of pink, red and lilac for your little sleeping beauty. 
There’s no such thing as too much pink here – layer up different shades of it with red and lilac for a chirpy and cheerful look. Green highlights add a bit of freshness, and a crisp white wall provides the perfect backdrop for fabric bunting or artwork.
An array of cute accessories completes the look. A fabric memory board provides a space to pin up favourite toys, notes and pictures – keeping them neat and on display.
